About Us

This site is an initiative of Development Commissioner, Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. Of India with an objective to make a platform to showcase the rich cultural heritage and products of Indian Artisans. This site is an online catalogue of handicraft products under 32 different Categories.

The site main objective is for buyers of Indian Handicrafts to be able to view the different products made by Indian Artisans and get in touch directly with the Implementing Agency for procurement of the products.

A buyer has an option to search for products via 32 Crafts categories, or through a product Directory and also through States.

Currently the site is available in English and Tamil (for only Tamil Clusters) and soon it will be available in all languages for their respective clusters.

An initiative of DC, Handicarfts, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India to showcase different products made by Cluster Artisans across India. Artisans are provided with technical / marketing know-how for making these products by implementing agencies which are partnered by DC, Handicrafts for the upliftment of these Artisans.
